There is also the chance to try canoeing at several white water river centres where hire and instruction can be arranged.

The bretons boast a proud maritime tradition and to them being on the water is second nature. There are numerous organised boat and fishing trips to and around the many islands off the Cotes d'Armor.
Sailing is a major attaction in the area and tuition and boat hire can be arranged.
